Highlights

  • Enjoy a guided tour at the award-winning Moonlit Sanctuary Conservation Park and experience the spectacular 'Conservation in Action' Wildlife show
  • See and feed a wide range of Australian animals including koalas, wombats, dingoes, wallabies, kangaroos and emus
  • Visit the historical Brighton Beach bathing boxes
  • Take a stroll along the coastal boardwalks and visit Point Grant to view the Nobbies and Seal Rocks
  • Check out the amazing Phillip Island Penguin Parade and explore the award-winning visitor centre

This isn't just about the Penguin though - this is also a full wildlife experience. After being picked up from your accommodation in inner Melbourne we'll head to the iconic Brighton Beach bathing boxes where you will have the opportunity to visit the beach and admire it's historic landmarks.

Next we head to the award-winning Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park for a guided wildlife walk and the opportunity to hand-feed many species of native Australian animals such as kangaroos, koalas, emus & wallabies, quolls, owls, bandicoots & Tasmanian devils!

You will also experience the spectacular 'Conservation in Action' wildlife show, which showcases a number of lesser-known Australian species.

At Point Grant and The Nobbies you'll enjoy lovely views over Westernport Bay and Bass Strait, including Seal Rocks, home to Australia’s largest population of fur seals.

The highlight of the day is just after dark when the world’s smallest penguins parade ashore after spending the day fishing out at sea. You’ll be truly enchanted as the stars of the show make their way up the beach to the dunes right before your eyes. Your tour guide will ensure you are able to get the very best viewing point to enjoy the Penguin Parade.

We have complimentary Wi-Fi on board.

The number of birds does vary on the beach throughout the year due to seasonal factors. The penguin’s year is divided into four different seasons:

  • Moulting - February / March / April
  • Nest Building - May / June /July
  • Egg Laying - August / September / October
  • Chick Feeding - November / December / January

Pickups are between:

10.00am-11.00am (May-August)

11.00am-12.00noon (Sept-April)

Return to Melbourne approx: 9pm-Midnight (Seasonal)
