Experience the magic of North Stradbroke Island on a full-day guided tour packed with breathtaking sights, history and culture!

Experience the magic of North Stradbroke Island on a full-day guided tour packed with breathtaking sights, history and culture!

Highlights

  • Experience the beauty of North Stradbroke Island on a guided tour
  • Enjoy the stunning beaches and lakes with plenty of stops along the way
  • Knowledgeable guide, small group setting and relaxed pace for your enjoyment
  • Take a hike along the Gorge Walk - awarded one of the most amazing coastal walks in Australia
  • A fantastic day packed with nature, wildlife, culture and history!

Departing Brisbane CBD bright and early to beat the crowds, we set off on our journey to spend the day on a paradise island!

Stopping off at the port for breakfast (own expense) to fuel yourself for the day ahead before hopping onto the ferry and across to North Stradbroke Island.

Our first island destination is at the stunning Brown Lake where your guide will inform you about the cultural significance of the area and the Quandamooka People.

After a quick stop off and photo opportunity at Myora Springs, we make our way to the Northwest side of the island to Cylinder Beach. Here you can enjoy a stroll along the beach before embarking on the Gorge Walk.

The Gorge Walk is awarded as one of the most amazing coastal walks in Australia and it's not hard to see why with sweeping views of the Coral Sea at the South Pacific Ocean which is rich in marine life. Keep an eye out to spot dolphins, manta rays and turtles during this 40-45 minute walk - a highlight of the day for many!

Once you have worked up an appetite after your walk, it is time for lunch at Point Lookout - you are welcome to bring yourself along a picnic or you can purchase a takeaway and enjoy whilst taking in the scenic views.

After lunch, it is time to chill out on the pristine beach at Amity Point and if you are so inclined, join your guide for a secret walk to search for Koalas in the wild or just stay back and relax on the beach.

All good things must come to an end and we make our way back to ferry and transport you with an expected arrival in Brisbane around 4pm.

Such a relaxing trip

We had a really good time ln this trip. Rio was such a great, relaxed guide with tons of funfacts and wildlife spotting skills. We saw a bunch of Koalas, Kangaroos, birds and even a sea turtle. Would definitely recomend this for a nice day around Brisbane

Great day at Straddie

Great tour, experienced several aspects of the island (nature, history, food, beach etc) in one day, saw a lot more (incl. Koalas and Kangaroos in the wild) than we would have on our own, the tourguide was very knowledgeable, the group was small and even the weather cleared up nicely for us. Thanks, we had a great day.
