Paul is a passionate guide who will tell you everything about the rainforest, trees, animals and plants. You can tell he loves showing people the places and the animals. Unique way to spend a day when you’re in Cairns!
This was a super fun tour and a great way to spend the day if you arrive a little too late for the morning tours like I did. We saw a platypus which is all I could’ve asked for!
Glad you enjoyed it! Paul
Quite a unique thing to do especially for big-city people - wandering in the rainforest at night. Enjoyed it. As a huge bonus spotted platypus in the wild, which was also great.
what a tour! if you're fascinated by wildlife, especially in the unique settings in the ancient rainforests around cairns, then go for this tour. Paul the guide is so skilled at finding all the wildlife in surroundings where you'd never spot them yourself and is very knowledgeable about all the animals you see. he equips you with binoculars, too, which helps to really get a proper glimpse of the animals that are sometimes hard to spot with the naked eye. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

Great experience
Paul is a really cool guy, super enthusiastic even though he did this tour hundreds (if not thousands) of times. Just be on time, because he really doesn't like running late! All details were taken care of, all went super smoothly. You won't be able to see ALL the animals you're hoping for, but still we saw a good bunch. Making and sending us an after-movie was a nice touch.
