Experience the beauty of Magnetic Island from the water on this exciting 70-minute guided Jet Ski adventure departing from The Docks in Townsville.

Perfect for travellers short on time, the Magnetic Island Express offers a taste of the island's spectacular coastline, crystal-clear waters and abundant marine life. After crossing Cleveland Bay, your experienced guide will select the best route for the day's conditions, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience while showcasing some of the island's most scenic locations.

Depending on weather and sea conditions, you'll explore either the northern or southern side of Magnetic Island. Northern routes may include West Point, Rollingstone Bay and other remote stretches of coastline known for their natural beauty and calm waters. Southern routes typically visit picturesque bays including Picnic Bay, Nelly Bay and Geoffrey Bay, with opportunities to continue towards Arthur Bay when conditions allow.

Along the way, take in stunning island scenery, discover hidden beaches, learn about the area's history and keep watch for turtles, dolphins, dugongs and seabirds that regularly inhabit the region. You may also pass significant local landmarks including the SS Adelaide shipwreck and fringing coral reef systems.

This tour is designed as a shorter introduction to Magnetic Island and does not circumnavigate the entire island. Instead, it focuses on delivering the best possible experience based on the day's conditions while providing plenty of opportunities for sightseeing, photography and wildlife encounters.

Suitable for both first-time and experienced riders, the tour includes a full safety briefing, professional guide, life jacket, sunscreen and complimentary photos. No licence is required, and passengers ride free, making it a fantastic adventure for couples, families and friends looking to experience Magnetic Island from a unique perspective.
