The beautiful Lady Enid sailing and exploring the Aboriginal cultural heritage of the Whitsundays and snorkelling magnificent Hook Island

Highlights

  • Immerse yourself in the Cultural history of the Whitsunday Islands' Ngaro people
  • Snorkel magnificent coral reefs on renowned Hook Island
  • Elegant sailing adventure for adults only
  • All inclusive with meals, snacks, water, transfers and a glass of sparkling with antipasto on the sail home

A day aboard Lady Enid is unlike any other sailing experience in the Whitsundays. Offering a touch of barefoot luxury, Lady Enid guarantees both comfort and elegance on your Hook Island tour.

Designed exclusively for adults, this experience comes with exceptional service. Indulge in gourmet meals throughout the day, with sparkling wine and antipasto served in the afternoon.

Our priority is your enjoyment, and we aim to create a joyous and unforgettable journey through the Whitsundays.

Discover the breathtaking Nara Inlet, reminiscent of a fjord, and delve into the rich history of the Ngaro people at Hook Island's indigenous cultural site. Snorkeling is a highlight, as Hook Island is renowned for its vibrant coral reefs waiting to be explored.

Lady Enid typically arrives in the calm anchorage of Nara Inlet by mid morning, protected by steep hills. Our crew transfer guests by dinghy to the bottom of the stone steps, to hike up to the Ngaro Cultural Site.

The natural, rocky track is short but steep, culminating in an immersive experience at the Site, with a wealth of information to learn with our guides and the installations in place.

Listen to the recordings, read the interpretive signage, and learn about the indigenous Ngaro people of the Whitsunday Islands.

We then make our way back down to the boat for lunch.

After lunch we sail to our Hook Island snorkelling site. The coral gardens just off Hook Island are teeming with coral and fish, which are well known as some of the best snorkelling in the Whitsundays.
