This tour covers all the essentials: a stunning 1.5-hour scenic flight, a relaxing cruise on the Yellow Water billabong, and a visit to the Warradjan Cultural Centre.

You'll soak in Kakadu's natural beauty and cultural heritage, all in one day, and still have time to enjoy Darwin in the late afternoon and evening.

Whether it's the Wet or Dry season, the tour runs year-round with slightly different itineraries to suit the unique seasonal landscapes.

It's an unmissable snapshot of one of the Northern Territory's most iconic destinations!

Itinerary

  • 08:30 am: Check-in at Kakadu Air Terminal
  • 09:00 am – 10:30 am: Kick start the day with a 1.5hour scenic flight paired with informative commentary delivered by your expert pilot.
  • 11:30 am: The Yellow Water billabong is rich with flora, wildlife and changing landscapes. Sit back and relax on a 90 minute cruise through Kakadu’s wetlands.
  • 13:00 pm – 14:00 pm: Lunch at Cooinda lodge
  • 14:00 pm - 15:00 pm: Transfers to the Cultural Centre. Developed by the Aboriginal traditional owners of Kakadu, wonder through Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre.
  • 15:00pm: Depart Kakadu on a 45 minute ferry flight back to Darwin.
  • 16:00pm: Farewell our guests at Darwin
