Get your adrenaline pumping as you experience an up close encounter with the world's largest reptile in the Northern Territory - the crocodile!
Experience Darwin’s most iconic MUST-DO activity - ½ Day Jumping Crocodile Cruise.
Feel your adrenaline rise as we cruise on the Adelaide River about 60km South East towards the Marrakai wetlands into apex territory. In these waters lives an aggressive and dangerous predator, the saltwater crocodile. These crocs are the biggest reptiles in the world, growing up to 6 meters in length and can weigh up to 1000kg. They are the oldest creature to walk the planet since dinosaurs and Australia’s Top End hosts over 100,000 saltwater crocodiles making this cruise a guaranteed thrill. Not only does the world's largest reptile roam these wetlands, it’s also home to 117 different species of reptiles and 280 different types of birds. There is no shortage of Australian wildlife here.
Experience first hand the powerful and amazing hunting skills as our guides feed meat to these creatures. A true unique sight to see! Learn about an infamous crocodile called “Sweetheart” who is known for repeatedly chewing the motors off the back of fisherman’s boats and taking the farmer’s cows. Unfortunately she has passed away but can be seen taxidermied in the Darwin Museum.
Our jumping crocodile cruise partners are highly trained professionals who ensure the safety of both the crocodiles and passengers at all times. No animals are harmed and all of our staff are issued with Wildlife Permits by National Parks and Wildlife for our interactions.
