Experience the eerie charm of Sydney’s Q Station after dark on the Ghostly Encounters Tour – a spine-tingling 2.5-hour journey through one of Australia’s most haunted heritage sites!

Highlights

  • Wander through eerie old buildings at sunset, each hiding tales of misfortune and mystery
  • Hear spine-tingling stories from 150 years of Q Station's dark and fascinating past
  • Explore the grounds by lantern light with a guide who brings the ghostly history to life
  • Perfect for believers and sceptics alike—there’s something for everyone on this chilling tour
  • A 2.5 hour adventure that mixes history, hauntings, and a good bit of goosebumps

As the sun sets and shadows stretch across the historic quarantine station, guests follow a lantern-lit path guided by a knowledgeable host who brings to life 150 years of stories steeped in misfortune, mystery, and the occasional ghostly whisper.

From tales of suffering and isolation to reports of lingering spirits, this tour explores the darker side of Q Station’s past, where untimely deaths and emotional trauma have left more than just memories behind.

Whether someone’s a sceptic or a firm believer in the paranormal, the chilling atmosphere, gripping stories, and the dramatic backdrop of the station’s old buildings will have everyone on edge – in the best way. The tour is suitable for those aged 15 and over, though anyone under 18 must come with an adult.

It’s important to wear comfy walking shoes and be prepared for a bit of a trek, as the site’s terrain can be uneven and requires moderate fitness. It’s not just a ghost tour – it’s an experience that blends history, intrigue, and the thrill of the unknown, leaving guests wondering just how thin the veil between past and present really is!
