Get ready for a day of Fitzroy Island fun!
On this epic tour you'll enjoy up to 6.5 hours to explore Fitzroy Island with a scenic 45 minute ferry ride there and back.
We depart from Cairns at 8:30am and arrive at Fitzroy around 9.15am, then departing Fitzroy Island by 4:00pm and arriving in Cairns approx. 4.45pm, giving you plenty of time to soak in the island's natural beauty including its vibrant marine life and stunning coral. Plus, there are optional extras to enhance your experience.
Purchasing this ticket will give you the return transfer Fitzroy Island on our Fitzroy Ferry. These are some of the experiences you can book directly with Fitzroy Island Adventures:
- Snorkel Gear Hire
- Snorkle Safari Tour (approx. 50 minutes)
- Snorkel Experience Tour (approx. 30 minutes)
- Glass bottom boat tour (weather dependent)

Perfect day
Great day at Fitzroy Island boarded our boat and departed Cairns right on time, smooth trip and pleasant staff, spent most of the day snorkelling, saw brown turttles, lots of tropical fish, sea cucumbers, small and giant clams and colourful corals, ended the day with a drink at Roxys Bar before hopping on board our vessel for the return trip to Cairns

Wunderful day at Fitzroy island
We had an absolute beatiful day at Fitzroy. The drive with the ferry was very comfortable and we were on time at Fitzroy. We rented us a sting suit and went snorkelling. There were so beautiful fishes and we also saw a few turtles. After this stunning experience we went on a little hike to nudey beach. On this way we had a few views over the sea, which were unbelievable beautiful. It’s absolutely worth the money and we would highly recommend it.
