Check the weather before you book

I booked this cruise without checking the forecast for the next day and I regret that. My partner works on the harbour and as soon as I booked, he told me the sea state would be pretty high the next day and there would be rain. Unfortunately, he was right. We were punching into southerly swell and it was raining, while we were prepared with raincoats, warm clothes etc., it was not a pleasant experience. Thankfully, the captain made the safety call to turn back into the harbour and leave the ocean as waves were coming over the starboard side of the open boat. On the way back in, he warned other vessels how bad the sea state really was. I think trips for the rest of the day were canceled. Next time, I would choose a closed in vessel and look at the weather forecast and swell forecast before booking.

Disappointing

Stood in the rain with my 12 year old son for more than 50 minutes. No boat arrived and no contact as to why. Tried email, Facebook message and phone. Have had no reply.
