Visit the iconic town of New Norcia with it’s rich history and a relaxed atmosphere
Established in 1847 by Spanish Monks, the charming town of New Norcia is full of interesting architecture that resonate with the unique history and culture of Australia’s only monastic town.
Perfect for all ages, we start by first meeting our friendly guide by the Tourist Coach Stand on Wellington Street near the Perth Train Station, where you will be welcomed onto our tour bus.
We’ll then travel in air-conditioned comfort through the Swan Valley towards New Norcia, with a stop at the famous Bindoon Bakehaus.
A local guide will then take you for a 2-hour tour through the streets of New Norcia and grant you exclusive access inside some of the town’s impressive historic buildings.
Once our town tour’s complete, we’ll head to lunch at the New Norcia Hotel where we can enjoy sparkling refreshments and a light lunch. All produce is locally sourced and homemade!
Finally, we visit the museum and art gallery to really solidify our understanding of this peaceful region’s style and culture, before returning to Perth feeling relaxed and enlightened.
