Busselton Jetty Full Day Tour

Visit the longest wooden jetty in the world on our delightful day tour!

  • Relax and be driven in comfort from Perth to Busselton and back by our friendly professional guide
  • Marvel at the longest wooden pier (or jetty as we call them) in the Southern Hemisphere
  • Ride the Jetty Train
  • Discover the aquatic wonderland found out at the end

Stretching almost 2 km long and first opened in 1865, the heritage-listed Busselton Jetty is truly impressive. This phenomenally long wooden structure has survived cyclones, storms and fire before being restored and improved to become the iconic site it is today.

Ideal for all ages, our tour starts from outside the Perth Train Station where you will meet our friendly guide before climbing onboard our comfortable air-conditioned mini-bus.

We make a stop at the multi award winning Miami Bakehouse, as well as Taffy’s Candy Store to sample the delicious treats including their famous salt water taffy that’s made on site.

You’ll get to ride the red Jetty Train for almost 2 km out to the Underwater Observatory found near the end. Here you’ll get to tour the observatory and marvel at the underwater life that is absolutely thriving thanks to one of Australia’s best artificial reefs.

Finally, we ride the train back to the beach before returning to Perth feeling relaxed and uplifted after a magnificent day at the beach.

Busselton Jetty

I booked this for my parents visiting from the UK, they said they had a lovely day and it all went exactly as planned, the transport was comfortable (for a long journey!) the host chatty, informative and friendly. They loved Busselton itself and thoroughly enjoyed the pier (which dad forgot to take a photo of!!) the pier train and the observatory. They would deinately recommend. Many thanks x

Relaxing day out

I was the only one who booked the tour but they were still happy to run it. My guide Jill was a lovely lady and very good driver. It felt more like a relaxing day trip out with friend than a standard tour. Good value too, lunch entrance fees and train tickets are all included. Highly recommended to anyone who likes to check out Busselton and the jetty.

Lovely day at Busselton Jetty

Jill was a very good guide, very accommodative and a safe and careful driver. She made the long journey a lot more bearable with her careful driving and interesting stop at Uncle Taffy's - Uncle Sam was really entertaining, love their candies and the 100 year old machine :-) Lovely Jetty and enjoyable experience on a train out to the observatory - this opportunity is really hard to come by. Also had a very informative tour at the observatory. The surrounding was picturesque and well worth the long journey!
