The Noosa Everglades, part of the Cooloola National Park, is recognised as a ‘Wetland of International Importance’.
The Noosa River is the only river system in Australia that has its entire upper catchment protected in National Park. Over 44% of all Australia’s bird species reside within this spectacular region. 1,365 species of plants have been identified and over 700 native animals co-exist here.

Wonderful day on the Everglades!!
Great customer service. I accidentally booked the wrong date and they changed my booking last minute. Everyone was freindly and helpful. Convenient pickup. Out boat driver was very knowlegeable able the bird species in the everglades. Good balance between canoeing and time on the boat. The actual everglades are stunning and not to be missed :) Lunch was great, provided a vegetarian option last minute was tasty and filling.

Most Beautiful place ever!
Even though it was raining on and off it was still a great experience. This is definitely an all weather activity. Our guide was very relaxed and full of knowledge.

A worthwhile and enjoyable experience
We had a gorgeous day, even though it was a bit hot for the boat trip along the Everglades and 5km canoe ride. Everything went well, the guide was informative and the food was good. Be prepared for a dip in the water by wearing your swimmers if possible because changing facilities are limited as is time at the stops. Finishing the tour with a local craft beer was most enjoyable. Habitat Eco is a very worthwhile place to visit.
