Escape the city and prepare to discover the best of Mornington Peninsula, a region that has built a global reputation for producing a range of fine wines which are perfectly matched with delicious food, gorgeous beaches, and stunning natural beauty.
The day begins with a convenient pick up from your hotel by our luxurious Mercedes mini-coach. Then we’re off to the gorgeous seaside town of Mornington. You’ll be excited to get out and take a leisurely walk as you explore the various boutiques, art galleries, gift shops and gourmet shops. Coffee lovers can caffeinate here with some freshly roasted coffee!
Shortly after, we’ll arrive at our first hand-picked award-winning winery, which is one of many that are synonymous with the best cool climate styles in the region. Our friendly host will make you feel completely welcome as they take you through their wine experience.
Next, prepare to have your taste buds tickled as we visit one of two award winning restaurants. “The Green Olive” has food that will nourish your heart and soul, boasting fresh produce straight from the local farm and gardens, tapas dishes and homemade condiments. “The Epicurean” is a significant destination in Mornington serving homemade pastas, cheeses, cakes and wood oven pizzas plus the largest selection of tasting and bottled wines in the region.
After lunch, we drive to the coastal town of Flinders. Breathe in the salt-tang air as you enjoy a casual stroll. You can also taste the multi award winning Mornington Peninsula Chocolates – delicacies that have been perfectly made using traditional French, Belgian and Swiss techniques.
Once you’ve had your chocolate fix, we stop by Moorooduc Estate , Pier 10 at Shoreham or Montalto Vineyard. These family run vineyards have gained a reputation for their complex yet delicious food friendly wines.
You’ll feel completely contented after a fine day out, so sit back and enjoy watching the rolling countryside through your window as we take you back to your hotel. To complete the experience, you will receive a professional tour group photo at the end – a snap shot of the wonderful memories created from an amazing day out!
