Join us on a relaxed and social small group tour as we leave the busy Melbourne streets and explore the Great Ocean Road‘s rainforests, beaches and breathtaking views!
Tour DescriptionWe head out of Melbourne early, passing through Torquay before stopping for morning tea at a nearby location. We follow the twists and turns of the breathtaking Great Ocean Road enjoying spectacular coastal photo opportunities. We will stop off to see some cuddly koalas in the wild, before travelling to Apollo Bay for lunch
Next we explore the Otway National Park, taking a walk through an ancient temperate rainforest, admiring some of the world’s tallest trees. We head through rolling hills towards Port Campbell National Park and the awe-inspiring 12 Apostles. Listen to tragic tales about the shipwreck coast and view remarkable rock formations at Loch Ard Gorge. Check out the fallen London Bridge (or Gibson Steps) and the quaint fishing village of Port Campbell. After this breathtaking day, relax as we head back to Melbourne, stopping in the township of Colac for dinner (dinner at own expense)

For anyone looking to avoid the crowds, we do offer a great alternative, Reverse Great Ocean Road, that visits all the same sites but avoids the big crowds of the afternoon rush! Für den Preis kann man sich nicht beschweren. Wir waren im rainforest, bei den 12 Apostels und noch einem view Point dessen Namen ich nicht mehr weiß. Wir haben sehr oft gestoppt und waren erst gegen 16:15 Uhr bei den 12 Apostels, wo es zu der Zeit überfüllt war mit Touristen. Fotos machen war schwer und genießen konnte man es auch nicht mehr. Ich habe bei einer Tour die schon um 7 Uhr morgens anfängt etwas mehr erwartet. Ich würde definitiv die Tour empfehlen wenn man kein Problem damit hat mit überfüllten Masse sich die 12 Apostels anzuschauen aber ich selbst würde die Tour nicht nochmal machen. Mittagessen war auch sehr lecker lecker..
