Situated just 1 hour from Melbourne, this world-renowned Australian Wildlife haven is an absolute must see for anyone visiting the Victoria region!

The Sanctuary is home to over 200 Australian animal species including, koalas, kangaroos, platypus, dingoes, wombats and emus.

You’ll be free to wander the grounds and observe these magnificent animals on their home turf.

The Australian Wildlife Health Centre also resides at the sanctuary and is a very special facility where over 1,500 sick and injured wildlife are treated and rehabilitated each year.

Visitors are welcome to visit the centre, where you can meet our team of vets and nurses and see them at work. Be sure to catch one of the fascinating daily talks with the vet team to hear and learn all about their inspiring work!

There is also a range of free shows including keeper talks and feeding times throughout the day that you wont want to miss. A great way to get up close and personal to our resident animals and learn all about them!
