Come along and join Green Frog Adventures on a Canyoning experience in the Gold Coast hinterland!

Carved over millions of years by the relentless action of running water, the magnificence and unspoiled beauty of the canyons almost defies description.

Canyoning is a fun summer adventure involving a variety of activities including swimming, wading, jumping into pools, abseiling through waterfalls, bushwalking and scrambling over boulders and rocks

This short day adventure begins with a safety briefing and training while we ready ourselves for a fun morning

We take a short hike along the creek-line will have us at our first abseil location. Continuing down the canyon, we’ll arrive at the next obstacle, a small jump into a stunning, secluded rock pool. We have lunch and a chilled out swim at this location before making our way further down the canyon to our the next abseil location, a pristine waterfall! We save the best til last, the final obstacle is the most challenging of them all, but you will have to come along to find out about that one! We then hiking back to Denham Reserve to finish

You will get wet!

  • Qualified experienced guide
  • Dry bags

  • NPWS entry fee (if required)
  • Full length wetsuits if required

What you need to bring and wear:

  • Comfortable clothes (T-shirt and shorts / ¾ pants) Will get wet
  • Enclosed shoes (we recommend Dunlop volleys) Will get wet
  • Small Backpack to carry lunch and belongings. Will get wet
  • Bag with Dry Clothes and shoes (Will stay at start location)
  • Hat and sunglasses (optional)
  • Hair tie (long hair)
  • Water bottle min 2 litres
  • Towel
  • Camera (waterproof) and sunscreen
  • Most important of all – SENSE OF ADVENTURE

Group size: minimum total of 6 for departure and maximum of 14 participants

Effort level: No prior experience is essential but basic swimming skills are required. 8km hike in total

Minimum age: 15 years old. 15-18 year olds must be accompanied by an adult

Where to meet:Denham Reserve, Beechmont. Map on booking confirmation

Meeting time: 9am, please arrive 30 minutes prior to departure time

Price: $350 per person

Tour is dependent on conditions and minimum numbers are required for departure, if changes re required Green Frog Adventures will be in touch
