Freedom III offers a fantastic day out to see the amazing Humpback Whales in their natural environment. Join us for an informative, all inclusive cruise and get up close and personal with these majestic creatures as we take a full day whale watching trip Hervey Bay
The vessel is a stable 58 foot catamaran previously owned by world renowned documentary maker Ben Cropp. Featuring 3 levels with full 360 degree whale viewing platforms, it also has water level viewing to get you as close as possible to the whales.
Trip departs: 9:30am, accommodation pick up available from 8:30am
*This trip can fill at short notice so please understand on rare occasions an element of flexibility may be required for your date of travel*
Conditions: Due to the nature of whale watching, all trips are weather dependent and while this is highly uncommon, seeing whales can never be 100% guaranteed. However between August 1st and October 31st if no whales are spotted on your trip another free return trip is given. The operator reserves the right to cancel/postpone the trip if necessary. Please keep your phone with you leading up to departure should the operator need to contact you.

Super Erlebnis. Highlight unserer Australienreise
Ein absolutes Muss für Jeden! Ein unvergleichliches Erlebnis, dass vieles in den Schatten stellt. Die Crew der Freedom III hat uns so nah an die Buckelwale gebracht, wie nur irgend möglich. Das Essen war super. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und alles in allem deutlich besser als erwartet.

Amazing day with the whales
What a magnificent day, did not disappoint. Tony was an awesome captain, and VIK and Kieren were the attentive and friendly crew. The whales were numerous and interactive. I couldn’t recommend this experience highly enough. We would definitely do this again.

Unglaublich und unvergesslich
AMAZING!! Wir haben den Tag über viele Wale gesehen (und auch Delphine) - zum Greifen nah am, unter und beim Boot. Einfach gigantisch. Die Wale haben offensichtlich Tourist-Watching gemacht (man soll winken und sich bemerkbar machen: sie sehen das tatsächlich und sind neugierig...). Ein unglaubliches Erlebnis - auch für die Jungs (7 und 9 Jahre). Diese majestätischen Riesentiere mit ihrer Anmut und Ruhe und trotzdem dieser Neugierde auf uns, zum Greifen nahe - Wahnsinn! Die Verpflegung war lecker, die Crew total nett und die anderen Touris auch sehr freundlich. Die Krönung: eine im pick-up Bus vergessene Sonnenbrille wurde uns am nächsten Tag zu unserem Campgroubg gebracht - vielen Dank auch dafür nochmal!
