Fraser Island Tag Along Tour - Pippies Beach House - 3 Day 2 Nights ex Rainbow Beach
Join the crew at Pippies and other young adventurers for a fantastic tag along tour of Fraser Island ex Rainbow Beach!
Explore the stunning beaches and abundant wildlife of Fraser Island on this tag-along tour departing from Rainbow Beach! This is a full three days & two nights tour as we like to leave early and get back as late as possible!
Following the lead vehicle driven by your tour guide, we'll explore the best spots of Fraser Island in 4WD Landcruisers including the highlights of Lake McKenzie, Champagne Pools, Indian Head, the Maheno Shipwreck and more! Everyone over 21 years of age (with a full open licence for 1 year) has the chance to drive on the tour!
What's included:
- 2 nights camping at Cathedrals on Fraser. Cathedrals is fully facilitated with electricity, amenity block toilets, hot showers, barbecues, laundry, permanent tents with shelter, tables, chairs and speaker
- All meals while on Fraser Island
- Nightly campfires, with beach views, awesome guides and a few games!
- Lead vehicle with an accredited tour guide and you have the option to drive one of our tag-along vehicles that follow the lead vehicle (up to 4 vehicles in the tag-along group)
- Fuel for the Vehicle as well as barge and all other permits
- All camping and cooking equipment
- Luggage and valuables storage whilst on Fraser Island
The tour departs every Friday. We meet at Pippies Beachhouse in Rainbow Beach at 4:15pm for a briefing the day prior to departure, where you will meet your group and get ready for your big adventure ahead!
All vehicles have:
- Aux leads for IPOD/MP3
- Automatic transmissions
- All vehicles have forward facing seats
Extra Costs:
- $10 levy payable on arrival at the safety briefing
- Optional sleeping bag hire $10 + pillow $3
Price: $489 Per Person +$10 Pay On Board Levy

Accommodation before and after tour
Pippies Beachhouse in Rainbow Beach has dorm accommodation available from $20 per night, if you are traveling in a van or with a tent you can park and stay for $12 per person per night.

Awesome tour!
Great way to see the island! The tour was awesome, staff was top shelf, the people were amazing, gained some great friends, and of course the amazing sites and experiences were in a league of its own! I'd recommend this tour to anyone!

Crazy 3 days on Fraser Island
My tour with Pippie's was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed every minute of it (even the ones that I can't remember because of the goon). Pete, our guide, was really helpful and easy going. Obviously, the group is making all the difference in this kind of experience and I was lucky enough to have a wonderful group where everyone got along easily. I met amazing people and made crazy memories during those three days. Hopefully, you will all be as lucky as I was. The only think I will recommend to everyone who do this trip is to bring a tube for the creek and prepare their liver. So enjoy the ride, take heaps of pictures and make lots of friends! PIPPIES TOUR WAS AWESOME!
Great tour- covers everything good about fraser! Great guide- Danny was both crazy and relaxed! Great camp- all help to keep it clean and tidy (as you should anywhere) tents were pretty new and everything you need is near you including a great shower block! Allllll goooooood CAR 4 all the way!

The perfect Fraser adventure!
Our Fraser Island Tour with Pippies Beachhouse was absolutely amazing. We had the best tour guide, he‘s done everything to make this trip nice for us. All the people were very friendly and we had so much fun. We saw all the typical Fraser spots, drove through very rough and bumpy tracks and just had a lovely time together. In the evening we sat around a fire or just together with a cider, heard some music and had very nice talks. The only thing that could be better is the amount of food. You really have to be quick to get a good portion, but everything tasted really nice. Thanks for the trip!!! G‘day, g‘day, g‘day!
