Jenny Huynh said... It was great to see the sunrise doing the overnight trip. The boat was small but was cozy enough to fit 12 passengers plus three staff members. As the boat was small, it was easier to feel seasick and the travel out to the great barrier reef took longer than larger boats. The food was great, mainly Coles branded food/ingredients. Cleanliness was just okay. The staff would frequently check up with you to see if you're okay. I received great assistance with my first time snorkelling. My only real complaint would be the excessive smoking by staff members on the boat. Most of us were uncomfortable with it but felt bad to say anything. Please be aware of customers who have asthma. The type of customer service you get is different. The staff are friendly and very casual. Similar to the service you would get at a back packers hostel. If you would like the five star type of service, this is not for you. If you would like to see the sunrise on the great barrier reef, I would reccomend coral sea dreaming. However, if you are strict on time and cleanliness/ customer service is an issue, I would suggest booking a larger vessel such as silverswift (I joined silverswift two days after my coral sea dreaming trip finished). Overall, I think it is a good experience for first time divers at the great barrier reef as you do get a lot of personal attention there.
