Evolution has exclusive moorings at several outer reef locations. Location decisions are made on the day based on weather conditions and water clarity so as to ensure the best experience for all activities.
The true outer reef locations, Norman Reef or Saxon Reef, are usually visited in the morning, before making our way to North Hastings Reef in the afternoon to conduct Helicopter Flights and our Glass Bottom Boat tour.
Down Under Dive have selected their outer reef locations based on variety and bottom contours, so to provide the best experience for experienced snorkelers, beginners and children of all ages.
Snorkel supervisors are all experienced Divemasters and provide in-depth briefings on safety procedures and site orientation, so you know where to find all the 'cool stuff'. Staff will keep a constant watch over the snorkelling sites to ensure safety.
Scuba Diving - Both Introductory and certified Diving available on board - You can dive up to 3 times - 1st dive $70, 2nd dive: $45, 3rd dive: $20, Please be aware at peak times dive availability can sell out due to pre bookings
Introductory Diving - No experience necessary! Give scuba diving a go with no previous experience or training necessary! If you have never dived before you can arrange an introductory dive with friendly and professional staff (medical restrictions and age limits apply)
Certified Diving Certified divers can enjoy 1 dive and still have plenty of time for snorkelling and relaxing. Additional dives can be purchased onboard on the day. All equipment is provided (medical restrictions and age limits apply)
Semi-Submersible tour Experience the reef formations and the masses of sea life without getting wet! Full Great Barrier Reef commentary and fish feeding are provided. A fantastic option for non-swimmers. $20 per person. Please understand this is a weather dependent activity
