We did the introductory dive which was a fantastic experience, however it felt very staged, we weren’t allowed to use our own underwater camera to take pictures, and there were input metal poles in the sand for us to hold and make us take pictures with a Nemo plush toy and cairns number plate. But the instructor was very patient and made things very easy for us. The whole day tour was fantastic with a free lunch, and a bar to buy drinks at and enjoy them on the pontoon. Biggest downfall definitely not taking your own pictures, then having to purchase at ridiculous prices if you wanted a Nice picture of your dive.
A great experience, different things to do and the option to book extra things when on board, i paid extra and got an under water camera and you get to keep the memory card. Very happy, definitely recommend.
Hi Holly, We think our Arlington Reef day tour is a great experience too. There are definitely lots of activities to enjoy whist out at the reef and having an underwater camera is a wonderful way to capture the amazing marine life. Jane Harris - Sales Manager Sunlover Reef Cruises

Reef day with Sunlover
Great day spent snorkelling on Moore reef with Sunlover cruises. They have a great pontoon with lots of activities on board very spacious and clean and very organised. Lunch was a buffet served on the catamaran and there was plenty of food for all including seafood. There were also snacks, drinks and icecream which you could purchase. We spent from 11am to 3.30pm at the reef and returned to Cairns by 5.15pm. There is a quick stop a Fitzroy island on the way to pick up and drop off guests. Staff were great very helpful and caring. Many spoke both English and Chinese and Japanese! The pontoon also had a second level where you could lay in the sun with quite a few lounges and bean bags to rest after snorkelling or diving. They also had a water slide that kept the kids amused for ages. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and spent a good 90 mins (2 sessions) snorkelling)! We will be back another time! Thanks Sunlover for for a wonderful day.
