Good way to get an overview of the region

The tour experience was good overall. The schedule is quite packed but our guide Doug has made it easy for us that we didn’t feel hectic at all. We had enough time to briefly check out each spot. Doug is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The only downside is we didn’t get much time to actually walk around the daintree rainforest area because of the closure of boardwalks (slightly different from what I expected). Other than that, the tour is well managed and enjoyable.

Busy, beautiful day

The trip to the Daintree and Cape Trib is amazing, so much is packed in foe you so that the trip on the coach doesn't feel so bad. Our guide Doug was fun and knowledgeable, would just advise him to be a bit more sensitive when talking about eating croc and kangaroo and turtle soup.. it was disturbing and not exactly what tourists want to hear.

Beyond my expectations!

Our guide was knowledgeable, funny, kind and thoughtful. Patient too, considering we were all together in one van for the better part of 12 hours. He drove the van and carried on a narrative about the countryside, animals, fish, ocean the rain forest--everything. Hughie was our guide and friend who took us everywhere. This trip was the high light of our trip to Australia, but of course we'll be back to check out the Outback next year. Thanks Hughie. Patsy, Anne and Sean
