Embark on a journey to the oldest low-laying rainforest in the world, packed with adventure, fun and a dash of education!
Your full-day adventure begins with pickup from one of the locations below, the first stop is the glorious Palm Cove Beach, then we continue on to the magnificent Rex Lookout for some truly awesome photo opportunities of the Coral Sea!
The tour then proceeds to the Mossman Gorge nestled in the Mountain Rainforest, home to the local Indigenous tribe the Kuku Yalangi people. After a refreshing early morning swim and a guided bush walk, we then set off to the notorious "Crocodile infested Daintree River" for your one hour cruise where you may spot saltwater crocodiles, reptiles, exotic birds and butterflies.
Fasten your seat belts as its now to time to drive into the depths of the rainforest. After a short 10 minute drive we arrive at the unique and breathtaking Alexandra Range scenic lookout. This is one of few places in the world where two natural World Heritage areas meet, The Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest!
Continuing on, driving into the wild rainforest north bound for our final destination Cape Tribulation. After lunch we then set off for viewing of the beautiful Cape Tribulation beach and short mangrove walk. Our guides will teach you about the diverse fauna and flora of the area. We now make tracks south bound for the hip coastal town of Port Douglas with a short stop off for some yummy Aunty Betty’s Biodynamic Ice Cream (own expense).
Arriving in Port in the late afternoon approximately 5pm we take a short stopover checking out the lookout nestled in the mountain. From here guests can view the world famous Four-mile Beach Port Douglas. Here you will learn of some local knowledge and history of the small and famous town!
After a long but action packed day it’s now time to set off home back to Cairns.
great day out to see the beauty that is cape tribulation and the daintree rainforest have been there before but it was lovely to sit back and go again. A must see when in Port Douglas/Cairns area
The tour experience was good overall. The schedule is quite packed but our guide Doug has made it easy for us that we didn’t feel hectic at all. We had enough time to briefly check out each spot. Doug is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The only downside is we didn’t get much time to actually walk around the daintree rainforest area because of the closure of boardwalks (slightly different from what I expected). Other than that, the tour is well managed and enjoyable.
The trip to the Daintree and Cape Trib is amazing, so much is packed in foe you so that the trip on the coach doesn't feel so bad. Our guide Doug was fun and knowledgeable, would just advise him to be a bit more sensitive when talking about eating croc and kangaroo and turtle soup.. it was disturbing and not exactly what tourists want to hear.
Not as good as expected. Rushed at times. Guide not always aware of needs of the group.

Amazing day
Our guide Adrian was very friends funny and knowledgable. He drove very good and took good care of us. We where 9 people and all enjoyed the diverse day attractions. When we came to cape tribulation whe where running late to the scedule and he asked us if we wanted to hang out there a little longer. In the end we had a 12,5 houres trip so he worked 2 houres more cause he was happy that we enjoyed the nature and had a good Time. The day was so rich of experiences which will take me while to understand. I would reccommend this trip to everyone! I could have done it again the next day. Thank you again for this incredible experience.
