This 60 minute hot air balloon ride over Geelong is the best way to start your day! Meeting time is around 1.5 hours before sunrise, the operator will confirm this with you the day before the flight. The team will meet you at Holiday Inn & Suites, Geelong and drive you to the launch site which will be confirmed to you prior to the flight. The launch sites will vary depending on the wind direction on the day. The operator will choose the location to take off making sure you get the most epic views possible on the day. After the pilot performs the safety and weather checks, the crew will begin preparing the balloon for inflation. If you want to give it a go yourself there are tasks for all who want to take part in the preparation.
Once inflated, you will launch and fly for approximately an hour, gaze out at the 360-degree view of the city, coastline, and other surroundings as you welcome the day. Flight time is 60 minutes however please be prepared to be with the team for about 3 to 4 hours.
