Di Meyer said... First things first for a totally relaxing and flexible day. Great views with the guide giving great updates of the area and of Adelaide. These included Castles, Mt Lofty House, Thorngrove Manor and the Bridgewater Mill Waterhweel. Short stop at Beerenberg Farm also. Then off to Murray Bridge and onto the Captain Proud for the lunch cruise. The captain also gave an informative commentary as we traveled along the river. After lunch,Historic German Village of Hahndorf. Plenty to offer here with Udder Delights Cheese and a Chocolate and Wine Experience at Hahndorf Hill Winery, then time to meander around the village. Overall we were giving a great relaxing day and very highly recommended.
