This fully guided tour will take you away from the hustle and bustle of Adelaide and into the calming oasis that is the historic Barossa Valley.

Founded by German settlers, Barossa is one of Australia's oldest wine making regions. It’s hot climate favours the development of full bodied red wines like Shiraz and makes it home to some of the world’s most exceptional wines.

Your small and intimate tour group allows for a personalised experience away from the crowds. Visit several premium wineries where you will get to indulge in the rich chocolate and spice notes of this much loved wine-blend.

Breathtaking scenery and the perfect photo opportunity await you at the Mengler Hills Lookout. To finish your journey of senses, we will stop at the Whispering Wall where you can witness the acoustic wonders of this place and enjoy beautiful views over the valley.

The Barossa Valley Food & Wine Tour is the perfect way to discover this scenic part of Australia and to experience some tantalising Shiraz wines!

    PERSONAL, FRIENDLY & WONDERFUL SERVICE

From pick up to drop off, my husband and i had a memorable and amazing day viewing the wonderful sights and surroundings of Adelaide. Could not fault this tour at all with the exceptional knowledge of our tour Guides Roger & Di. Would definitely recommend AMBLER TOURS again and will only use them each time we visit Beautiful Adelaide.

    A Special Surprise!

After finding out from Roger the day before that he didn’t have our booking, he kindly arranged for Raymond to take us in his BMW for a personalised tour instead! We were very grateful and we felt like celebrities being chaffuered around the Barossa. So enjoyed the experience with Ray because he was very obliging and professional and a great conversationalist. A totally unexpected but welcome surprise.

Maggie beers farm and wine tasting

Maggie's farm was beautiful the views of the lake and the food was delicious. We learnt about the flavours in wine and got out of our comfort zone tasting wines we wouldn't usually taste. Yummy cheese, chocolate and ice-cream as well.

    Barossa Valley Experience to remember!

I was fortunate to have a private tour and Roger personalised visits to wineries, food destinations and points of interest. Roger is well known and highly regarded by all that we encountered today and made the day a lovely experience. Highlights included a stop at the Maggie Beer Farm for lunch which was divine! I would highly recommend booking with Roger and Ambler Touring and will be doing so on my return to Adelaide in the near future 😊
