This fully guided tour will take you away from the hustle and bustle of Adelaide and into the calming oasis that is the historic Barossa Valley.

Founded by German settlers, Barossa is one of Australia's oldest winemaking regions. Its hot climate favours the development of full-bodied red wines like Shiraz and makes it home to some of the world’s most exceptional wines.

Your small and intimate tour group allows for a personalised experience away from the crowds. Visit several premium wineries where you will get to indulge in the rich chocolate and spice notes of this much-loved wine-blend.

Breathtaking scenery and the perfect photo opportunity await you at the Mengler Hills Lookout. To finish your journey of senses, we will stop at the Whispering Wall where you can witness the acoustic wonders of this place and enjoy beautiful views over the valley.

The Barossa Valley Food & Wine Tour is the perfect way to discover this scenic part of Australia and to experience some tantalising Shiraz wines!

    10 stars ~ outstanding experience

Blown away by the service, comfort, knowledge and customized itinerary according to my interests. Roger picked me up from my Airbnb and once he established my interests put the destinations together. As a lover of bold red I have tasted the most incredible wines. As Roger personally knows most of the teams in the boutique wineries I also got to taste vintages that are generally not available for tasting. Just incredible. In between mixed it up with a visit to a cheese producer ~ oMG, so good. Not to mention chocolates Outstanding experience Thank you Roger ~ and next time I will come and do the Clare Valley tour Happy days

    VIP Tour

Had a great day visiting wineries, chocolate shop, cheese tasting and Maggie Beers farm. Very informative driver, Rodger, who was very open to our suggestions too. We were out for 8 hours and felt special as there was just me and my husband. Finished at an ice creamery in a quaint like town.

    Great day at Maggie

Di was amazing from start to finish. She listen to our requests and catered the day to our needs. She had an exception knowledge of the region and took us to some unique wineries for tastings. Highlight for us was having lunch at Maggie Beers eatery (which was booked in advance for us). Day could not of been better! Thanks Di

    Awesome Barossa Valley Tour

Me and my wife were lucky enough to get a personal tour of the Barossa Valley. The amount of insightful information Roger has about all aspects of the tour, from wine tasting techniques, to historical information of the Barossa Valley, to all the little places to go to not only in the Barossa Valley, made this such a fantastic experience for us. The other great thing about Rogers Tour, is he customises it to you - in our case that meant, we did the wine tour / went to a cheesery / chocolate factory, tasted various meats and topped that all off with Maggies Beer Farm and the icing on the cake being award winning Australian Ice Cream at the end of the tour. Fantastic Experience!!! Thanks again Roger.

    An amazing day tour experience!

We had the most wonderful day exploring the sites of the Barossa Valley on this tour. My friend and I chose to take this tour in July of last year and our tour guide Roger was absolutely amazing. There ended up only being 4 of us on the tour together and Roger altered the itinerary to suit our own personal interests, in which were were able to visit many wineries as well as some popular cheese and food stops. This is the only Barossa Valley tour we found that offered a stop at the Maggie Beer Farm for a sit-down lunch and gave us ample time to order food and have a relaxing lunch. We would highly recommend this tour to everyone!

Hello there Bridget, Thank you for your lovely review. As you know from travelling with us, we always try to be flexible with the tour itinerary and cater to the interests of our Guests. The Maggie Beer Farm Eatery is one of the popular destinations in the Barossa and it is important to us, to allow our guests the opportunity to stop here for lunch and a visit to the Farm Shop for produce or a photo in 'the kitchen'.
