Half Day Barossa Valley Food and Wine Tour

Join us for an incredible half day tour of the historic Barossa Valley and encounter some of South Australia’s iconic food and wine!

This fully guided tour will take you away from the hustle and bustle of Adelaide and into the calming oasis that is the historic Barossa Valley.

Founded by German settlers, Barossa is one of Australia's oldest wine making regions. It’s hot climate favours the development of full bodied red wines like Shiraz and makes it home to some of the world’s most exceptional wines.

Your small and intimate tour group allows for a personalised experience away from the crowds. Visit several premium wineries where you will get to indulge in the rich chocolate and spice notes of this much loved wine-blend.

Breathtaking scenery and the perfect photo opportunity await you at the Mengler Hills Lookout. To finish your journey of senses, we will stop at the Whispering Wall where you can witness the acoustic wonders of this place and enjoy beautiful views over the valley.

The Barossa Valley Food & Wine Tour is the perfect way to discover this scenic part of Australia and to experience some tantalising Shiraz wines!

A Special Surprise!

After finding out from Roger the day before that he didn’t have our booking, he kindly arranged for Raymond to take us in his BMW for a personalised tour instead! We were very grateful and we felt like celebrities being chaffuered around the Barossa. So enjoyed the experience with Ray because he was very obliging and professional and a great conversationalist. A totally unexpected but welcome surprise.

This was the perfect tour for what we needed - a half day tour that picked us up in the morning. Roger was fantastic picking us up at the port when we got off our cruise and dropping us to our hotel at the end. The tour was personalised to us and each of the wineries and stops we did were great. Highly recommend!!!

Best Vegan Wine Tour

During my trip to South Australia, I felt it essential to book the obligatory wine tour. Thus I booked a half day in the Barossa Valley, however, I was treated to an exclusive vegan wine tour that surpassed all my expectations. Due to my dietary and ethical choices, most of the Wines in the Barossa Valley are made with animal products thereby limiting to experience significantly. Thankfully, my fabulous guide who was a wealth of knowledge was able to direct us toward the McClaren Vale region where I was treated to the fruits of D'arenberg, Woodstock and finally The Battle of Bosworth wineries for some incredible tasting experiences. An Essential experience. Thankyou for the trip!

Barossa tour

Great day out with Roger from Ambler Tours - coffee to start, some good views around town, then followed by lunch, 3 wineries, a craft brewery and ice cream!

Excellent day in Barossa

Great day out in the Barossa Valley. Roger our friendly driver/guide took into consideration what our small group wanted to do and catered accordingly. Roger was very friendly and informative and went above and beyond to make sure we all had a great day. The wineries were very generous with their tastings and the area itself is very nice with beautiful buildings. Apparently the McLaren vale tour is just as good, so hopefully we'll do that next time with Ambler.
