Great Ocean Road And 12 Apostles Sunset Tour

The Great Ocean Road Sunset Tour is your opportunity to enjoy one of Australia’s most breathtaking views at its most beautiful time of day. The scenic journey in our bus along the Great Ocean Road is a highlight in itself, the perfect start to the main event

We make our way south of Melbourne towards the Surf Coast, experiencing its enchanting beach side towns and powerful swells. We take a stop at the town of Anglesea where you have the chance to stretch your legs and take walk alongside the beautiful Anglesea River, before we continue along the Great Ocean Road. We make plenty of photo stops and take the opportunity to absorb the truly remarkable coastal scenery

Next we stop at Kennet River Township for lunch (not included in price), and to take stroll amongst the eucalypts to locate some of the local koalas in their natural habitat. The koala population here is particularly strong and numerous sightings are guaranteed

We travel onward through the Otway Ranges to the Shipwreck Coast and the iconic rock formations of the Port Campbell National Park. We stop to explore at Loch Ard Gorge and hear a recount of the 1878 tragic shipwreck

With the sun now approaching the horizon we make our way to our final sightseeing destination at the best time of the day. You will be awestruck by the majestic Twelve Apostles at sunset. Enjoy a surreal spectacle watching the colours of the sky & the land transform in the evening light

We head homeward with a dinner stop (own expense) in the town of Colac. We then continue on, enjoying a stunning view of the illuminated city as we again cross the Westgate Bridge and return to Melbourne
