giddy up trail rides

Wow! We are a family of 4 - mum, dad and 2 sons aged 8 and 9. we had a lovely ride on horses (never before) through running creeks and outback bush. Amazing experience with that warm winter sun. appreciated our young Irish guide and young Assistant guide from the Netherlands teaching us basic rein pulls to control our own horses. Horses were very docile and calm for beginners. This was an absolutely excellent and personal experience - Daintree station was amazing - would definitely try the quad bikes or a rodeo dinner next time - or even a beach horse ride. Loved loved loved the experience!

Next Level Experience

I think I had the biggest smile on my face the whole time. As I have never ridden before, my horse and the ride I went on were chosen to suit my needs. Incredible place, friendly people, couldn't recommend it more highly.

GROUP TRAIL RIDE - BIRTHDAY PREZZIE

We presented our 9 year old daughter with her birthday gift as a 3 hour 6 person trail ride. Mum, Dad and Uncle with herself and choice of 2 friends... The group as a whole were completely inexperienced. Because of the large group size, there was definitely EXTRA time spent on training at the beginning, ensuring we ALL had an understanding of what the horses needed like commands and order. This was NOT A PROBLEM. The trail varied through different landscapes and views, with plenty of ground surfaces and crossings to keep interested and active on the horses. As an unexpected surprise, they provided my daughter with a cake at the end..!! Wonderful, Excellent, Friendly, Fun..!!!

Fabulous Trail Ride!

I was very nervy about climbing back on a horse after a previous mishap but Tam & Jaime were fantastic! Tam really knows her stuff & was very efficient with her instruction & her ability to build confidence in oneself is awesome! I would recommend this provider for anyone who is unsure or wanting to climb back into the saddle & is just needing that extra support & motivation. A big thank you to the team at Giddy Up & to my new friend "Barbie", a really little lady!
