Shambala Animal Kingdom - Kuranda
Shambala Animal Kingdom is home to many of the worlds endangered and exotic animals.
Set on 200 acres of open savannah bush land 40 km's west of cairns.
As well as being a day park, in which guests can walk around and listen to keeper talks and see animal feeds every half an hour, there is also Dinner on the Edge.
This is where you dine inside the lions enclosure and are surrounded by 19 lions, the largest pride of lions in Australasia, as you dine!
Shambala Animal Kingdom is home to 25 lions, brown bears, common hippo, pigmy hippo, cheetah, white rhino, otters, many species of monkeys and much more!
